Happy Christmas! With yarns!

These are the Christmas cards that I made for my sisters. Very simple to make! Just bought a couple of crocheted doilies (they are sold really cheap at antique fairs). Then painted them using textile dyes. Finally attached them to handpainted background papers by machine sewing.

I wish you Merry Christmas with these photos of my newest knitting yarns. The newest yarn is a sock yarn called Solki! Both of these are spun from Finnish sheep wool, Kainuu Grey sheep breed, which almost disappeared from Finland (and the world) some time ago. I love the wool from this breed and had really fun time dyeing these with Christmas colors.
