I love birds but my mother has left me with a dislike for them in the house im afraid
But feeding the many birds in our garden and hearing their song is one of the pleasures of my day!

Birds truly are a lovely part of our world.
I use to draw and paint birds landing on people hands in my art and now, for the past 4 years I get to experience birds landing on my hands for seeds every day. They are little birds, 4 types. I have learned so much from them.

Since my mother moved in with us, we have installed a bird feeder outside that is -very- well attended, and watching them has brought us a lot of joy!

I often use birds in my art and also when I’m outside walking, listening to and watching them. Another artist once told me if you have a space to fill, put a bird there. So, I often do that as well as making them the center of attention. I’ll post some if mine. Thank you again, for all you do and for exposing an important idea.
