In reply to Tammi Sloan. Tammi, how great that you have started drawing! I do not know a better hobby! Through drawing I have got more knowledge about myself, my style, and what I aim for. When I began drawing I wanted to learn how to "draw well". But the more I drew the more I began to tolerate my mistakes. Within time they have become part of my style. It makes the whole hobby even more enjoyable. Thank you for the comment and have wonderful moments with pens and paper!

Thank you. This is very helpful. I am taking a drawing class to help me get back into drawing. It has been 30 years since I’ve done any serious drawing. It’s really good to get other’s perspectives on how to get motivated when you don’t feel creative.
