I am always so encouraged by your amazing work, Päivi and this one is particularly interesting because of the emphasis on the dark areas--something that I love as well. Almost all my work is in sketchbooks but I feel I can certainly learn from paintings. It is fun to examine the details in your work--the little pompom is a treasure!!

Thank you, Jane! Yes, depth is a wonderful thing to achieve. I am happy to hear that you have enjoyed Mystical Minis, too!

One of the many things I am learning in your online classes is how to create a darker depth. For me, it's about not stopping too soon. I've revisited some of my pieces to add darker areas-- I'm so much happier with them!
Btw, I have two more Mystical Minis to do. I look forward to our "visit".
