Wow! I also had cavies for 10 years, but never bred them. Hamsters and cavies often had shows in a same place. I also imported hamsters and my first cavy from the UK. Like you, I also loved the genetics, so interesting. The small animal circles had very friendly people and I got life-time friends there.
