Amy, thanks for the great comment. It is so inspiring to learn how you have discovered free motion quilting. So understandable and it left me wondering why I did not take that path! Well, I will be back with quilting time to time and certainly have a go at free motion quilting too!

It’s funny, but my main quilting interest before taking up free motion machine quilting was crazy quilting. I loved its freedom with so many opportunities for embellishment. But like you, I needed to create in a faster way. You pursued more work with paper and pen and paint, and I began using my machine with thread as the pen and ink!
