Your art is beautiful, draws me in. Love your imagination and skill.
I watched your free class this week and still want to try the lessons.
Also considering this class you are offering on sale. I find you to be quite generous in how you share and explain art and your art, as well as technique. I truly appreciate this.

In reply to <a href="https://www.peonyandparakeet.com/watercolor-fairies/#comment-98276">Barbara</a>.

Thank you, Barbara! Negative painting is an essential technique when painting in watercolor, so yes, for example Magical Forest has lots of that!

My watercolor set has many different brands. I buy a pan and place it there or squeeze some to an empty pan that fits. I like, for example, Schminke, Daniel Smith, Roman Szmal ... I buy artist quality mostly.

To get more color on the brush, wet the pans before you start painting. To get a layered look with intense tones, use several watery layers on top of each other so that you dry each layer before adding a new one.

Your fairy is enchanting. The flower became a fairy step by step. Thanks for the pictures which clarified your technique. Have you done a lesson on negative painting earlier? I like the richness of it.
What brand of watercolors did you use? Quite often mine look washed out.
