Mystical Minis – Draw Abstract Art with Colored Pencils!

Mystical Minis is an online art course about drawing mystical abstract art with colored pencils. You will create 8 small drawings and explore your inner world with shapes, colors, and lines.

Inspired by Hilma, Geogiana, and Virginia

Mystical Minis is inspired by three creative women from the past.

Two of them are pioneers in abstract art: Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) and Georgiana Houghton (1814-1884).
The third is the modernist author Virginia Woolf (1882-1941).
When adding Päivi (the teacher) and yourself, we form a new “The Five” to find the spirit of abstract art.

You Can’t Find Another Course Like This!

Mystical Minis is not a regular art course that focuses on perspective and composition, but we talk about:

• being in the room
• receiving messages
• creating streams
• finding energies

You need to be playful, and you will be led deep into abstract art-making.

Mystical Minis is a journey where you travel with a guide, but still freely.

Don’t be fooled into thinking that small is insignificant. Even though it only takes about an hour to complete one mini-drawing, the experience and the result can be both energizing and grounding. However, Mystical Minis is not an art therapy course, but a course about abstract art and finding its mystical spirit.

Mystical Minis – Supplies

You only need colored pencils, small pieces of paper, an eraser, and a sharpener.

You can use a regular eraser, but you will have more fun with a precision eraser pen that has a narrow tip.

Only Necessary to Love

Mystical Minis is for all adults who love abstract art. The goal is that, after the course, you will look at abstract art with new eyes and create any kind of art with a new twist.

Creative Ideas and Techniques

Mystical Minis has 9 inspiring videos, about 2 hours and 50 minutes total. The videos not only show how, but also go deeper into abstract methods.

One video is about the supplies and the basic coloring techniques, and then there’s one video for each of the 8 drawings. The written document has 13 pages and contains background information for the videos.

With the course, you will also get the membership for the Bloom and Fly Facebook group, where you can share your work and have conversations with the teacher and fellow artists. The membership is for 2025 and 2026, so you can continue creating and sharing your art until the end of the new year.

Technology Needed + Refund Policy

All the information and services are provided in electronic format. You will need Internet access and a personal email account. The document is in PDF format, and the videos are offered as a streaming service on a web page. You can access the material as long as you want if you download the document and the videos to your computer within 6 months from the purchase date. If you download videos, you will also need an application to view and download MP4 videos. You have to be over 18 to join the Bloom and Fly community. All sales are final.
