Video: Artist’s Life and Inner Inspiration
This week, I made a video blog post where I share what I have been working on lately. This watercolor piece is one of them.

In the video, I also talk about the inner inspiration – that not everything has to come from outside, but there’s a lot within our inner world already.
You get to see my planner for 2026, which is also my art journal. It’s a notebook that has pictures of Jasmine Becket-Griffith‘s art.

My favorite topics – flowers, watercolors, colored pencils, and abstracts – are all covered in this video.
In the last part of the video, I share my joy about the newest course, Mystical Minis – abstract art with colored pencils – Buy Now!

A valuable video. I haven’t explored oils as yet but I’m still so enamored with watercolors and watercolor pencils. I also recently bought a new journal and I love that process. I’ve been fascinated for a long time with the idea of what I see in the world that is inspiring but also what comes into me and rolls around then comes out in my art, that includes writing. A big delicious Art soup!
Thank you for sharing, Adrienne!
Wonderful video! I enjoyed seeing details of your day and your beautiful art. I’ve recently fallen in love with fountain pens and have added a few vintage ones to my art supplies. I get to know each one individually; they have personalities and stories to tell. It reminds me a bit of your approach to your pencils and flowers. Hugs!
Thank you, Melinda! I haven’t ever tried fountain pens, maybe I should! Sounds so interesting!
